The pool association's technical team is looking for you to help with the work in the outdoor pool

Voluntary support of the Bäderverein Kevelaer e.V.

What needs to be done?
Who can take part?

Anyone can join in and help. It is very helpful if you have a qualification in the following areas:

  • Electric
  • Locksmithery
  • Sanitary installations
  • Roofing

After the season is before the season and there are all kinds of small and large jobs to be done

  • the sand areas of the mud facility, the nest swing and the volleyball court must be covered after the season and cleared again before the season.
  • the water pipes must be emptied and refilled.
  • the sprinkler system must be put into operation before the season.
  • the electrical cabling must be checked.
  • Playground equipment and seating must be checked.
  • minor maintenance work is required.

For the winter of 2024 / 2025, we are planning repairs of the pool liner in the front area of the non-swimmer pool to complete the liner renewal in the outdoor pool.

When do we start the job?

Our technical team has been in action since 10/12. From now on, the team will meet every Saturday at 08:00 a.m. and work in the outdoor pool until 12:00 noon.

At around 09:30 a.m. we always have breakfast together, which is prepared by other helpful volunteers.

Can I just have a look at the work first and get to know the team?

Anyone can join in and simply take a look at the work and the teamwork and then decide whether regular participation is feasible and conceivable for you. Your participation is always voluntary and all arrangements are made regularly with regard to the work to be done and the employees that are present.

Your safety is important to us.

Insurance coverage
